Stephen Foster
I have been fortunate in life to have lived many passions. My work has been on digital display in the Agora Art Gallery in New York 11-13 February 2021 and at International MIA Photo Fair, taking place at Piazza Lina Bo Bardi in Milan at March 21st - 25th 2020. I have also had my photographs used on a number of local news/sports/corporate websites and done a number of outdoor family portraits.
I grew up in Ontario Canada and after completing my BA in History at York University I pursued my Graduate Studies at Griffith University, Gold Coast Australia. I taught High School Phys. Ed in Australia for 2 years; traveling to Vietnam and Taiwan to teach English during my holidays. Next, I lived in Dominica with my wife as she attended Ross University School of Medicine, I was a Master Teacher on campus teaching K-8. We moved to Atlanta, GA where my wife completed her family medicine residency at Emory and I taught Social Studies at Newton High School. Over the span of 5 years I was the Social Studies Department Chair, Head Track & Field and Cross Country Coach and also taught AP Photography. I was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2022.
Teacher turned photographer.
