Environmental portraiture is a unique way to capture you - not in a studio, mostly candid shots of you living your life. Farmers feed cities, Lynn Cronk is a 3rd generation farmer in Eastern Canada tending to horses and cattle on 3000 acres daily.

This photo is completely candid. Lynn has a special relationship with all the animals and they always acknowledge him when he’s close. Here Lynn is reaching out to greet one of their ox who gives him a loving sniff in return.

I was lucky enough to capture this split second interaction. How I managed to grab this phot on my old camera gear is a testament to knowing your gear and it’s limitations - and being in the right spot at the right time.
